Disney cartoons have been a part of my childhood since I can remember. I just love the old, classic fairy tale princess stories even though I didn't have the urge to dress up like one of them. Although, I was quite obsessed with Belle's golden dress that I asked my mom if she could stitch one for me, and she did! I think I was 6 at the time? Well, I still have that dress and it's safely kept in my treasure chest.

I've been wanting to do a Disney fashion inspired post for a long time now and what better way to do it than through Polyvore? You could spend hours on there, it's not even funny. Actually, I have made these fashion sets two years ago and never got around to publishing it here on the blog so here they are now. Also, I was thinking on whether or not I should do a Princess Moana set but the movie hasn't been released yet and I want to see all her outfits on screen before making one.

If you don't know who Princess Moana is, she is a character in the upcoming Disney animated film "Moana" and she is the first Polynesian princess to join the princess lineup. It will be released around November 2016 and I just can't wait for a new Disney Princess film!

If you are a Disney fanatic like me, I'm sure you can identify which outfit set belongs to which princess without looking at the names. I wanted to imitate the feel of all their outfits that were shown in their films and make it possible for day-to-day and party wear. Enjoy scrolling through!

Can we all just gather around and hold hands around this post and WILL the dresses to appear in front of us? Yes, please. Zuhair Murad's maroon dress is the talk of my town! Valentino's long embellished dress coat is beautiful. Honestly, I don't know where I would wear it. I will find a place and reason to wear it.

As I mentioned before in a previous post, following the updates of seasonal collections is insane! I still don't know how people do it. Obviously, people who have staff. I need staff. *rolls eyes at self*

Haha, just kidding! While it would make posting a breeze, it's not what my blog is about. I let two seasons pass by as I couldn't find one item I liked. I know...what? I know you know what I'm talking about. Finally, I found eye candy in Pre-Fall 2015.

HAI everyone! This blog has awakened once again. Oh look, it's 2015 already...where on earth have I been?! Apologies for the absence but life got in the way for a bit. I know. Isn't that annoying? I've decided to change the format of some posts so let's see how it goes. :)

Let's start the blog this year with a post on my best dressed favourites from the 2015 Academy Awards. My top favourite this year is Jennifer Lopez in her beautiful Elie Saab gown. I usually wouldn't choose a dress in that colour but I will have to ignore that as the design speaks for itself.

My second favourite is Rosamund Pike in that red wonder by Givenchy. I have been loving that type of detailing on the waistline as it makes your waist appear smaller. We all want that, don't we? ;)

A name regularly featured on my blog, Zuhair Murad, dazzles as always on the runway. I've chosen 12 favourites from the collection and what do you know, I'm all set for the whole year! It's perfect! Now, to look for a monthly event to attend to.

That about wraps it up for my favourite Fall 2014 collections. Onwards to New York Fashion Week next month! Fashion Week will always be the busiest of times when it comes to updates as news seem to pour in by the hour. I can only imagine the frenzy that happens behind the scenes at the actual shows. I have been to many fashion shows but never had the chance to witness the madness that is backstage. Hopefully, I will get to see it one day!
