Here is my first "haul" post. I can't really call it a haul as it's just a few items...but still! I've recently decided to inventorize my closet with an app. I'll make a separate post on that soon. But for now, click on through to read more!




There was a Polyvore set I made a while ago that featured a cape from Zara and I was just drooling all over it. Nothing dramatic except it being a plain black cape and the collars were made of faux leather. I just loved the look. It's from their TRF Collection and I don't think it's available on the site anymore but perhaps some stores still stock it. I absolutely love jackets from Zara as I think it goes well with my personal style and is quite affordable.



I also bought a pair of black faux leather gloves with spike detailing. I didn't plan on buying gloves but I saw it hanging by the cashier and I grabbed it. Thank goodness it was my size. If you knew me, you'd know I love spikes and studs on everything. My phone case itself is studded. And it's quite hard to find clothing and accessories with spikes that do not look too overpowering or tacky. For this pair, I love how the spikes are of a varying size and not close together. Also, the wrist part from behind is being held together by a thin metal rod and I love how it looks. It's also very soft and flexible.

Next, we have bags. The first one is from Suite Blanco. I usually buy bags from this store as it is also quite affordable and they have such great styles. My new purchase is a camel brown suede shoulder bag with small studs and long fringe detailing on the front flap. I love suede anything! Bags, shoes, jackets, although it is a hindrance when it's raining out and you can't wear your favourite accessory because of fear of ruining them. This bag is great for just a casual day out, it has an adjustable strap and can be worn however which way you like.

The second bag is from Aldo. As you know, my favourite colour is red. I saw this and thought it was a really cute shape and style. Love the two small fringes on the front, and the fact that it has an extra compartment in the flap itself that goes down all the way to the bottom of the bag is great. This can also be styled for a casual day out but is more fancier and can be used for the evening, for example, if you're going on a fancy date and prefer a shoulder bag from a clutch. However, the strap is not adjustable but I don't mind as I wear my shoulder bags long.

Lastly, I sneakily bought this sweater from Forever 21. Normally, I only wear sequins on dresses and jackets but only if it's for an event or a special occasion. To wear it on an everyday item of clothing is not my style. But I just had to get this. Why? The moustaches. Damn those moustaches, I'm obsessed with this print. I've got the print on other shirts, tote bags, and a watch. As evidenced by my mouse cursor here on the blog and on my tumblr, if you're reading this on your computer. I just think it's so cute!
